Transitory Business Visa (up to 60 days)

Foreigners not listed in this list who plan to travel to Argentina for business, commercial negotiations, or market studies, on their own account, risk, or capital or on behalf of companies, must apply for a visa.

This type of visa is issued for a maximum period of up to 60 days and can be extended before the expiration of the original period by the National Directorate of Migrations (DNM) in Argentina.

To submit a visa application, please send the following documentation by email to visasctoro@mrecic.gov.ar:

1. Visa Application Form. Complete all fields except numbers 50 and 51.

2. Scanned copy of your passport, including all stamped pages (with seals or visas). The passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry into the country, and must have at least one blank page (two sides) available.

3. Document proving your immigration status in Canada (e.g., PR Card, Study or Work Permit).

4 . Invitation letter from the inviting company or organization in Argentina. It can be an Electronic Invitation Note through the TAD platform or a paper Invitation Note certified by an Argentine notary public and the College of Notaries. Find more information at the following link.

Important: The authority of the company or organization inviting in Argentina who signs the aforementioned invitation note must have their signature registered in the "National Unique Registry of Foreigners' Requesters" of the National Directorate of Migrations (RENURE), in accordance with Disposition DNM 54.618/2008. The note from the inviting entity authenticated by a national public notary must mention that the person signing is authorized to act on behalf of the inviting entity.

5. Document proving background in the activity the foreign person performs. It can be a letter from the company or organization in Canada for which they work, in English and Spanish (suggested note template), signed by the responsible person of said company. Commercial references, company articles of incorporation, certification of the existence of the company, etc., are also accepted.

Additional documentation may be requested.

Once the documentation has been reviewed, you will be asked to pay the visa processing fee, and a consular interview will be scheduled.

To ensure that the visa is granted before the travel date, it is recommended to submit the visa application at least 45 days before the intended travel date.
