Argentine Citizens Holding Foreign Passports

Citizens of Argentina holding foreign passports do not require a visa to enter the Argentine Republic.

By Disposition DNM No. 2742/2009, Argentine citizens entering the country solely with the passport of the acquired nationality will have the entry stamp marked with the legend: "ARGENTINO - 180 DAYS".

If the Argentine condition is not stated in the foreign passport and the entrant invokes it, it must be proven by presenting the Argentine National Identity Document.

To leave the country, one must do so with the relevant Argentine documentation, unless the stay in the Argentine Republic has not exceeded one hundred and eighty (180) consecutive days, in which case they may leave with the passport of the acquired nationality used upon entry.
