Requests for whereabouts searches must in all cases be made by a direct family member and be based on humanitarian reasons.

There are two modalities:

Request from abroad for whereabouts search in Argentina

Those residing within the jurisdiction of this Consulate and wishing to know the whereabouts of a family member in the Argentine Republic should send an email to consular_ctoro@mrecic.gov.ar.

Request from Argentina for whereabouts search abroad

Those wishing to know the whereabouts of a family member in Canada should send an email to the Directorate of Argentines Abroad (DIARE) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade, and Worship: diare@mrecic.gov.ar
