In accordance to Decree 1654/08 the Argentine Government established a Reciprocity Fee to Canadian nationals travelling  on a regular passport for tourism purposes.

According to Disposition DNM 93/2014 the amount of the Reciprocity Fee is USA $ 92.00  to be paid online before departure at the following link:

Please keep the electronic receipt since you are required to submit it to Immigration authorities upon arrival in Argentina.

Upon your arrival in the country a transitory residence valid for 90 days will be granted. This can be extended for a similar period of 90 days at the Immigration Office (Dirección Nacional de Migraciones).

The Reciprocity Fee is valid for multiple entries until one month prior to the expiry date of your passport.

Please note thar holders of a valid Canadian passport entering Argentina under a business, student or resident visa do not have to pay the Reciprocity Fee.

Argentine nationals who are Canadian citizens are not required to pay the Reciprocity Fee when travelling to Argentina with Canadian passport.
