COVID-19 testing and self-isolation.
Entry requirements to the Argentine Republic were established on April 6, 2022, by Administrative Decision 370/2022, which is summarized below:
I. Argentines and residents in Argentina
- Online Affidavit: complete the Online Affidavit from the Immigration authorities within 48 hours before departure.
- It is not necessary to test for COVID-19 or comply with the isolation period.
- It is recommended that unvaccinated travellers test for COVID-19 during the 24 hours after entry.
- If your flight has connections, we suggest checking if the transit countries require COVID-19 tests.
- We suggest that residents abroad have travellers insurance with coverage against COVID-19.
II. Foreigners
- Online Affidavit: complete the Online Affidavit from the Immigration authorities within 48 hours before departure.
- Traveller insurance that includes coverage against COVID-19.
- Comply with current immigration requirements (eg. get a visa if necessary due to the traveller's nationality or the reason for the trip, have a valid passport, etc.).
- It is not necessary to test for COVID-19 or comply with the isolation period.
- It is recommended that unvaccinated travellers test for COVID-19 during the 24 hours after entry.
- If your flight has connections, we suggest checking if the transit countries require COVID-19 tests.
